That day, they sang "Hosanna" to their King.
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the L0rd!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”
Can you hear them? Can you hear their shouts of praise for their King?
Can you hear them singing in their heart language, raising their hands to their King?
Today in church, we sang "How Great is Our God" to my King.
"How great is our God
Sing with me how great is our God
and all will sing,
how great, how great is our God."
Can you hear me? Can you hear my shouts of praise to my King?
Can you hear me singing in our heart language, raising my hands to my King?
The following song, we sang "Probhu Tomar Mahima."
"Probhu tomar mahima
Ey gaye prothom gan
Shokale dite chai...
Probhu tomar mahima*"
Can you hear them? Can you hear their shouts of praise to their King?
Can you hear them singing in their heart language, raising their hands to their King?
Some day, we will gather around the Throne of the Most High with people from every nation, tribe, people, and language, and we will sing to our King.
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
Can you hear us? Can you hear our shouts of praise to our King?
Can you hear us, people from every language ever spoken, singing in their heart language, raising our hands to our King?
*I couldn't remember all the words, but these were in it in some order or another.
This song has been on repeat in our house for quite some time... reminded me of your post! Enjoy! :-)
